1. Agreement Structure & Governing Law
These Terms of Service ('Agreement') govern your organisation's use of the HackGuardX platform and services. This Agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
2. Authorisation Warranty & Lawful Testing Boundaries
Active security testing may only be performed against domains, IP addresses, cloud accounts, Microsoft 365 tenants, and source code repositories that you own or hold explicit written authorisation to test ('Authorised Targets').
By verifying domain ownership or connecting a cloud/GitHub integration in HackGuardX, you represent and warrant that you have full legal authority to instruct HackGuardX to perform automated security checks in compliance with the UK Computer Misuse Act 1990 and applicable hosting provider policies.
3. Subscriptions, Billing, Fair Use & Cancellation
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis in Pounds Sterling (GBP) excluding applicable UK VAT. Each tier (Starter, Business, Pro, Managed) includes clearly stated asset allowances for domains, targets, and repositories.
You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time via your workspace billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
4. Nature of Automated Security Insights & Limitation of Liability
HackGuardX provides continuous automated vulnerability discovery and configuration posture insights. No automated tool or manual security review can guarantee the detection of every possible zero-day flaw, business logic vulnerability, or determined human adversary.
Remediation guidance is provided to assist your engineering and IT teams; you remain responsible for testing and applying changes safely within your change-management process.
